About AI Studio Guides

What this site is

AI Studio Guides is a small, independent reference for people generating speech with Gemini models in Google AI Studio. It exists for one reason: the tool is easy to open and surprisingly hard to get a good result from on the first try, and most of the difficulty is in the order of operations rather than the software.

Every guide is written task-first. If you want to make a clip, there is a tutorial with the steps in order. If a render came back flat, there is a page about style briefs. If the button did nothing, there is a page that starts with the error rather than the settings.

How the content is put together

Statements about model behaviour, token budgets, voice counts and output formats are checked against the current published specification before a page is published, and the page is re-checked when the models change. Where a behaviour depends on your account, region or plan, the page says so instead of generalising from one person's workspace.

We do not claim to have tested every voice on every device. Where a recommendation is a judgement rather than a measurement — which voice suits which job, for example — it is presented as a starting point you can audition in a minute, not as a verdict.

What this site is not

It is not affiliated with Google, and it does not speak for the AI Studio team. It is not a support channel: problems with your account, billing or access belong with Google. And it is not a promise that a model will behave the same way next month, because preview models change.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, the correction is welcome and will be applied to the page rather than buried in a comment. The contact page explains what to send.
